Quarterly Incentive Awards for July - September 2022

             
    Bill McRae   Cycling, Duathlon & Triathlon At the Shimano National All Schools Cycling Challenge Bill came 1st in the road bike criterium, 6th in the mountain bike cross country and 8th in the downhill enduro. At the 2022 Lifestyle Classic Bill came 4th in the Under 17 division. In the sport of duathlon Bill came 1st in the 12/13 years Boys event at the Queensland Duathlon Championships and in the sport of triathlon Bill came 17th overall in the Juniors 13/14 years event at the School Sports Australia Triathlon Championships.
     
     
    Tomas Crump   Cross Country Tomas is a para athlete who competed at the Queensland Cross Country Championships and came 1st in one event and 2nd in another. From these performances he was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the National Cross Country Championships in Adelaide where he came 5th in the boys 15 years event and 2nd in the relay event.
     
     
    Ryder Schroder   BMX At the 2022 BMX South Queensland Shootout Series, Ryder came 3rd in the 13 Years Boys 20 inch, and 3rd in the 13/14 Years Boys cruiser. He then competed at the Oceania Championships where he came 6th in the 13/14 Boys cruiser. At the 2022 Australian Cycling BMX State Series Ryder came 3rd in the 13 Years Boys 20 inch and 13/14 Boys cruiser. These achievements have qualified Ryder for the Australian Team to compete at the BMX World Championships in France.
     
     
    Lucy Barnes   Cross Country Lucy came first in the Girls 10 years at the Darling Downs Cross Country Championships and followed this up with a 1st placing at the Queensland Schools Cross Country Championships. She went on to represent Queensland at the National Championships where she placed 4th.
     
     
    Delaney Burke   Cross Country & Hockey In the sport of Cross Country Delaney has been selected in the Queensland team to compete at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Adelaide. In the sport of Hockey Delaney is a member of the Toowoomba Under 18 Girls hockey team to compete at the Queensland Under 18 Hockey Championships.
     
     
    Nathan Tranter   Indoor Cricket Nathan has gained selection in the Queensland Indoor Cricket team to compete at the National Indoor Cricket Championships in Melbourne in August.
     
     
    Luke Siebuhr   Hockey In 2022 Luke has represented Queensland Hockey in the Boys Under 15 Hockey team and was also selected in the Queensland Schoolboys Under 16 Hockey team to play at their respective Australian championships. He is also currently a member of the Men’s Under 18 Queensland Hockey Squad.
     
     
    Isaak Brew   Cross Country Isaak represented the Darling Downs in Under 16 Boys Cross Country at the Queensland School Sport Championships and also competed at the Queensland Athletics Championships where he finished 5th in the Under 16 Boys cross country. This resulted with Isaak’s selection in the Queensland team to compete at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Adelaide where he finished 36th in the Boys Under 16 age group.
     
     
    Caitlyn Garratt   Triathlon Caitlyn is a member of the Triathlon Queensland team for 2022/23 season. She is ranked in the top 10 Juniors at the National School Sport Triathlon Championships and was a member of the Queensland Triathlon relay team which won the bronze medal at the National School Sport Triathlon Championships.
     
     
    Addison Attrill   Triathlon Addison competed at the Australian Aquathlon Championships at Hervey Bay in the 10-12 years age group, where she finished an impressive 12th overall and her Queensland team finished 5th in the relay.
     
     
    Kyrna Crump   Para
Cross Country
Kyrna is a para athlete who competed at the State Cross Country Championships and won the gold medal in the 18 years age group. From this performance she was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Adelaide where she came 5th in her age group and came home with a 1st in the team event.
     
     
    Eli Gascoyne   Hockey Eli was a member of the Toowoomba Under 13 Boys Hockey team which travelled to Gladstone for the State Championships, at which this team came 2nd overall. From his performance at these championships Eli was selected in the Queensland Under 13 Boys Hockey team to compete at the National titles in Hobart in September.
     
     
    Maeve Moore   Swimming From her performances at multiple swim meets around the region, Maeve qualified for the Queensland Championships in 6 events. At these championships she made the finals of 5 events, coming in the top 10 of all of these events. In her last event, the 50m freestyle she came away with the bronze medal to secure her spot on the Queensland team to compete in the medley & freestyle relays and 50m freestyle event at the National Championships. At these championships Maeve won the silver medal in the Girls 10 years 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
     
     
    Bridie Nicol   Softball Bridie represented Queensland at the Under 16 Australian Softball Championships and from her performance at these championships has been selected in the Australian Under 16 Girls Softball Squad.
     
     
    Savannah Patterson   Hockey Savannah captained the Darling Downs Under 12 Girls hockey team at the state championships. She scored 12 goals while at these championships and was selected in the Queensland Under 12 Schoolgirls team to represent her state at the National championships in Canberra in August. Savannah also represented Toowoomba at the Under 13 State Hockey Championships and from her performance at these championships was selected in the Queensland Under 13 team to travel to Hobart in September for the National Championships.
     
     
    Finn Robert   Triathlon At the Queensland Triathlon Championships Finn came in 9th overall for senior boys and was the first Darling Downs competitor. In September he also competed at the School Sport Australia Triathlon Championships held in Hervey Bay representing Queensland.
     
     
    Roan Bronkhurst   Futsal In 2022 Roan has competed in the South West Schools Futsal Competition and the Queensland Futsal Boys 13 years Championships. From his performance at these championships Roan was selected to join the Queensland Elite team to travel to Fiji in July. He will now go on to represent Australia travelling to Barcelona in October.
     
     
    Tiffany Ham   Volleyball After representing the Darling Downs in Girls Under 15 years volleyball Tiffany has been selected in the Queensland School Sports Under 15 years team and the Queensland Under 16 Girls team to compete at the Australian Under 16 Youth Volleyball championships in Bendigo.
     
     
    Isabella Kings   Swimming Isabella competed in 3 events at the Queensland School Swimming Championships, placing 7th in the 50m breaststroke, 6th in the 100m breaststroke, and 5th in the 200m breaststroke. She also competed at the Australian Age Swimming Championships in these three events and the Australian Short Course Championships in the open age events where she got to compete alongside Commonwealth & Olympic Games swimmers. She also competed in the 16 years age group at these championships finishing 3rd in the 50 breaststroke and 3rd in the 200 breaststroke.
     
     
    Tanner Henley   Athletics After representing Warwick at the Under 15 Queensland Hockey Championships, where the team finished 3rd overall, Tanner was selected for the Queensland Hockey Under 15 Development squad. Tanner has also qualified and made the Darling Downs team for discus, javelin and shotput to compete at the Queensland Schools Athletics Championships in October.
     
     
    Belinda Slatter   Para Athletics Belinda competed at the Oceania Athletics Championships at Mackay in the 100m, 200m, 400m and long jump. From her performance at these championships, she has qualified for the Virtus Oceania Asia Games in the Heptathlon.
     
     
    Alex Maddison   Hockey Alex was a member of the Toowoomba Under 15 Boys Hockey team who made the final at the Queensland Under 15 Boys Hockey Championships after being undefeated in the round games. The team finished the championships with the silver medal. From his performance at these championships Alex was selected in the Queensland Under 15 Boys Hockey Squad.
     
     
    Logan Macready   Hockey Logan has been selected in the Queensland Under 13 Boys Hockey team to compete at the National Under 13 Boys Hockey Championships in Hobart at the end of September.
     
     
    Sophie Daley   Weightlifting At the Queensland Under 15 Weightlifting Championships, Sophie won the gold medal and at the Queensland Under 17 Championships won the silver medal. She followed this up with the gold medal in the Under 15 age group and silver in the under 17 age group and the bronze medal in the Under 20 age group at the Australian Weightlifting Championships. From these performance Sophie has been selected in the Australian Weightlifting Federation High Performance Youth Squad and has also been selected to attend the Australian Institute of Sport High performance Pathway training camp.
     
     
    Tahlia Hess   Indoor Cricket Tahlia captained the Queensland Under 18 Girls Indoor Cricket team to a win in the final against NSW, at the National Championships in Melbourne. From her performance at these championships Tahlia was named in the 2022 Australian Under 18 Girls All Star team.
     
     
    Erin Siebuhr   Hockey Erin was a member of the Darling Downs Under 12 Girls Hockey team and also a member of the Toowoomba Under 13 Girls team. From her performance at the State Championships Erin was selected as a shadow of the Under 12 Queensland Schoolgirls team.
     
     
    Maddison Teakle   Soccer Maddison captained the Darling Downs Schoolgirls team at the Queensland Schools Soccer championships and from her performance at these championships was selected to captain the Queensland Under 19 Schoolgirls Soccer team at the Australian Schools Soccer Championships. Maddison has also been selected in the Queensland Under 18 National Training Centre team.
     
     
    Judah Magarey   Cross Country At the Queensland Athletics All Schools Cross Country Championships, Judah was the winner for the Boys 9 years event. At the Queensland Athletics Cross Country Series Judah was the winner for the 9 year old boys, being undefeated in the 7 races. He was the winner for the 9 year old boys at the Queensland Athletics Championships and also won the 800m at the Darling Downs school competition.
     
     
    Dusty Schroder   BMX At the 2022 BMX South Queensland Shootout Series, the Oceania Championships, and the Australian Cycling BMX Queensland Series, Dusty came 1st in the Girls 10 years, 20” and 8/10 Girls cruiser at all of these events. These results have qualified her for the Australian Team to compete at the BMX world Titles to be held in France.
     
     
    Chase Deurloo   Orienteering &
Swimming
Chase competed in the Queensland Orienteering School Championships where he won a silver medal in the long distance bush event and a bronze in the sprint event. In the sport of swimming he has qualified to compete at the National Country Swimming Championships to be held in Darwin in October in two events, the 50m and 100m backstroke.
     
     
    Dylan Belanyi   Hockey Dylan was a member of the Toowoomba Under 13 Boys Hockey team who competed at, and won the silver medal at, the Queensland Under 13 Hockey Championships held in Gladstone. Dylan won the Goal Keeper of the Tournament award and was selected in the Queensland Under 13 boys team to compete at the National Titles in October.
     
     
    Violet Richardson   Cross Country Violet won the gold medal in the Under 9 Girls 1km race with a time of 3min. 53sec. at the Queensland Cross Country Championships. She was first finisher in both boys and girls combined in this race. She won the gold medal at the Queensland All Schools Cross Country Championships and was also the winner of the Brisbane Cross Country Series in the Under 10 age group despite being only 8 years of age.
