Quarterly Incentive Awards for July - September 2021

             
    Nate Scott   Aquathon Nate gained selection into the Queensland White Aquathlon team to compete at the National Aquathlon Championships in Hervey Bay in September however the Nationals were cancelled due to Covid restrictions.
     
     
    Ellie Denning   Triathlon From her recent performances in the sport of triathlon Ellie has been selected in the 2021/2022 Queensland Triathlon Team.
     
     
    Bradley Schultz   Hockey Bradley was a member of the Darling Downs Under 12 Schoolboys Hockey team which won the grand final at the Queensland Schools Hockey Championships. From his performance at these championships, Bradley was named Most Valuable DD Player.
     
     
    Chase Deurloo   Orienteering At the Queensland Orienteering School Championships Chase won the gold medal in the Hagaby-style race, won a silver in the Sprint event and bronze in the Long-Distance Bush event. Chase is only 12 years of age and competed at these championships in a combined age group.
     
     
    Kieran Belanyi   Hockey From his performance representing Toowoomba at the Under 15 State Hockey Championships Kieran has been selected in the Queensland Under 15 State Squad to attend the Qld camp and hopefully gain selection into the Queensland team in 2022.
     
     
    Oliver Nicol   Softball Oliver competed for Toowoomba at the Queensland Under 14 Softball Championships. At the completion of these championships Oliver was selected in the Qld Squad of 24. He will travel to Brisbane in October for training with the squad hoping for selection in the Queensland team before the Nationals in 2022.
     
     
    Will Marshall   Go Karting Will has competed in the Australian Karting Championships this year, competing against the very best drivers in the country and has been accepted into the NAPA Motorsport Academy. He has won or placed on the podium at several Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley Kart Club rounds as well as rounds at Ipswich and Warwick. He is competing in the State Go Karting Championships in October.
     
     
    Eloise McKenzie   Indoor Cricket
and Cricket
Eloise has been selected in the Queensland Indoor Cricket Under 17 Girls Team. Unfortunately, the National tournament has been cancelled due to Covid restrictions. In the sport of Cricket Eloise was selected in the Darling Downs Under 15 Girls team and the Western Swelter Under 15 Girls team and also selected in the inaugural Brisbane Premier League draft to play for the Darling Dingoes.
     
     
    Braithen Scott   Rugby League and Touch Braithen gained selection in the Darling Downs Under 15 Touch team to compete at the State Titles. He was also selected into the Twisters Under 14 and Swans Under 14 Touch teams. In the sport of Rugby League Braithen gained selection into the DD Under 15 Rugby League team to compete at the State Titles. He has also been selected to the EPD program for the Brisbane Broncos.
     
     
    Isabella Casagrande   Swimming Representing the Darling Downs at the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships Isabella placed 1st in her age group in the 200, 100 & 50m Butterfly, 100 and 50 m Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley and 2nd in the 200m Freestyle. She made qualifying times to compete at the National Age Swimming Championships at the Gold Coast in the 400 I.M., 100m Butterfly, 200m Freestyle and the 200 I.M.
     
     
    Ruby Richardson   Cross Country Ruby was named in the Queensland Athletics Cross Country Merit team after a top 10 finish at the Qld Athletics State Cross Country Championships.
     
     
    Dylan Belanyi   Hockey Dylan was a member of the Darling Downs Boys 12 years and under hockey team who finished 1st and became the state champions at the Qld Primary Schools Hockey Championships. From his performance at these championships Dylan was selected in the 2021 Queensland State Schools Merit team as Goalkeeper. He was also a member of the Boys Under 13 Toowoomba 1 team which attended the Queensland Hockey Under 13 Championships in Townsville where Toowoomba finished 3rd overall. From his performance at these championships, he has been selected in the Qld Cutters Under 13 Hockey team to compete at the National Titles in Hobart.
     
     
    Addison Attrill   Athletics and
Cross Country
At the Little Athletics State Championships Addison won the bronze medal in the Girls 11 years 1500m. In the sport of cross-country Addison came 4th at the Queensland All Schools Cross Country Championships and in doing so gained a spot in the Queensland Cross Country Merit team.
     
     
    Brandon Spain   Muay Thai Brandon is the No.1 Super-Featherweight in Australia for Muay Thai. In July he fought for the Qld WBC Pro Title but couldn’t contest the Australian title due to Covid restrictions. He went up a division to 61kg due to no competitors in the lower division. He fought Arthur Jukes from Cairns and won with a first round TKO.
     
     
    Mackenzie Zeller   Rugby League In 2021 Mackenzie has had a busy year in her sport of Rugby League. She has been selected in the Under 17 Girls Queensland Country team, Under 17 Girls Western Mustangs team, is Highfields Districts Junior Rugby League Club Captain, a member of the Under 18 Darling Downs Girls Rugby League team and is a member of the team who are the Under 17 Girls TJRL Premiers.
     
     
    Samuel Gladwin   Cross Country Samuel placed 8th at the Queensland Athletics Cross Country Championships. This performance qualified him to compete at the National Cross-Country championships, however these were cancelled due to covid restrictions.
     
     
    Chelsea Gladwin   Cross Country Chelsea finished 2nd at the Queensland Schools Cross Country Championships and 4th at the Queensland Athletics Cross Country Championships in the 14 years age group. She has made the Queensland team for both of these events but the National Championships have been cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Chelsea is also the 2021 Fairholme College Sprint and Middle-Distance Champion and a member of the Toowoomba Twisters Under 14 Girls Touch Football team and South West Qld Touch team.
     
     
    Julia Huie   Swimming Julia represented the Darling Downs as part of the 10-12 years Schools Swimming team at the Queensland School Sport Swimming Championships where she qualified for 5 individual events and 2 relays. Julia finished 6th in Queensland in the Girls 12 years 400m Freestyle which was an amazing effort as Julia had only swum this event twice before.
     
     
    Chloe Denning   Triathlon Chloe has been selected in the Queensland School Sport Triathlon Merit Team and also the 2021/22 Triathlon Queensland team after finishing 2nd at regional level and 5th in the State. At the 2021 Pittsworth Australia Day awards Chloe received the honour of the Pittsworth Junior Sports award for her dedication and sportsmanship as a talented all-round athlete in the sports of triathlon, swimming, cross country and athletics.
     
     
    Mariah Brown   Rugby 7s From her performances representing the Darling Downs Mariah has been selected in the Queensland Indigenous Under 15 Girls Rugby 7’s team.
     
     
    Violet Richardson   Cross Country At just 7 years of age Violet defended her Queensland Athletics State Cross Country Championships title in the Under 8 1km run with a time of 3:54 crossing the line in first place overall, boys and girls combined. At the 2021 Brisbane Cross Country Series she won the gold medal in the 3 x 1km Relay Girls race and she has also won the silver medal at the Qld Athletics All School Cross Country Championships.
     
     
    Dusty Schroder   BMX Racing At the Queensland BMX Championships held in Ipswich Dusty finished 2nd on the 20-inch bike and 4th on the cruiser in the 8 to 10-year-old girls division. She was the defending Queensland Champion going into the 2021 season and eventually won the series.
     
     
    Hailey Warhurst   Hockey At the Under 13 Girls State Hockey Championships, representing Toowoomba, Hailey was named the Goalkeeper of the Tournament. From her performance at these championships Hailey has been selected in the Under 13 Queensland Cinders Hockey team to compete at the Australian Championships in Hobart.
     
     
    Billy Retallick   Swimming Billy qualified for 3 finals at the Queensland Swimming Championships and from these performances qualified and swam at the National Age Swimming Championships.
