Quarterly Incentive Awards for January - March 2021

             
    Nicholas Denny   Athletics At the Queensland State Athletics Championships held in March 2020, Nicholas came 1st in the Boys 13 Years 100m & 200m, and 2nd in the Long Jump. This would have qualified him to represent his state at the Nationals, but this was cancelled because of Covid. In October, as a member of the All Schools Merit Team Nicholas came 2nd in the 200m Sprint.
     
     
    Ava Black   Netball Ava was selected in the 2020 Queensland Under 17 Netball Team. She played in the Bond University Hart Sapphire Series Open Women Division 1 Netball team where she was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the whole Qld Hart Sapphire Series. In 2021 she has been selected in the Qld Under 19 Netball team.
     
     
    Jorden Wright   Athletics Jorden won the silver medal in both the 400m hurdles and 110m hurdles at the Qld Athletics Championships in the Under 20 Men’s age group.
     
     
    Stella Suey   Hockey In October 2020 Stella was selected in the Queensland School Sport Under 12 Girls Hockey Merit Team, but due to Covid was unable to play in the National Championships.
     
     
    Kaylin
van Greunen
  Netball Kaylin has been selected in the Queensland State Under 17 Netball Squad.
     
     
    Will Cronk   Hockey Will gained selection in the Queensland Under 15 Boys Hockey team to travel to Bathurst in early April to compete at the National Championships.
     
     
    Molly McPherson   Netball Molly has been selected in the Queensland Under 17 Netball Squad and the Panthers Under 17 team.
     
     
    Matt Hawthorne   Hockey Matt gained selection in the Queensland Under 15 Boys Hockey team to travel to Bathurst in early April to compete at the National Championships.
     
     
    Dan Burge   Hockey Dan trialled for, and was selected as, one of 2 goalkeepers to represent his state in the Queensland Under 18 Hockey team to compete at the Australian Under 18 Hockey championships at Launceston, Tasmania in April.
     
     
    Lachlan Ziviani   Hockey and Indoor Hockey Lachlan gained selection in the Queensland Under 15 Boys Hockey team to travel to Bathurst in early April to compete at the National Championships. In the sport of Indoor Hockey Lachlan was selected in the Queensland Under 13 team.
     
     
    Flynn Edards   Softball and
Baseball
Flynn was a member of the Under 12 Darling Downs Softball team and from his performance at that tournament was selected in the Queensland Merit Team. In the Sport of Baseball Flynn plays in U/14 & U/17 teams and has debuted in the A Grade Men’s team this season even though he is only 12 years old.
     
     
    Bailey Harm   Swimming Bailey competed at the RMHC Qld Sprint Championships in February where he won the gold medal in the boys 12 years 50m breaststroke & silver in the 50m freestyle & 50m backstroke. At the Qld Swimming Championships held in December, Bailey won the silver medal in the 50m & 100m breaststroke, and bronze in the 200m breaststroke.
     
     
    Hayden Macready   Hockey With minimal playing time throughout the season Hayden showed he had what was needed to be able to play the schoolboys tournament. From his performance at this tournament, he was selected in the Queensland School Boys 10-12 years Merit Hockey Team.
     
     
    Bobbie Hamlet   Hockey Bobbie has been selected in the Queensland Under 15 Girls Hockey Team 1 to travel to Bathurst in April for the Australian Under 15 championships.
     
     
    Brooke Ronan   Beach Volleyball Brooke has caught the eye of beach volleyball selectors in Queensland and has now been selected as a Queensland Under 19 Shadow Beach Volleyball team member.
     
     
    Addyson Jones   Softball Addyson was selected in the Queensland Under 14 Softball team to compete at the National Championships in Lismore in April.
     
     
    Isabella Kings   Swimming At the 2020 Queensland Swimming Championships in December, Isabella placed 3rd in the 14 years 100m Breaststroke. This performance qualified her for the Australian Age Swimming Championships scheduled for April 2021.
     
     
    Holly Gilbar   Hockey
and
Indoor Hockey
Holly was selected in the Australian Country Field Hockey team which was supposed to travel to Hong Kong in 2020 to compete, but this was cancelled because of Covid-19. In the Sport of Indoor Hockey, Holly was the first and only Toowoomba Indoor Hockey player to be selected in the Indoor Hockey World Cup Squad. The world Cup is being held in Belgium in 2022.
     
     
    Jack Hawthorne   Hockey Jack was selected as a member of the Under 18 Queensland Men’s Hockey Team which travelled to Launceston in early April for the Australian Under 18 Championships.
     
     
    Archie Milne   Beach Volleyball Archie has been selected in the Volleyball Queensland Under 15 Boys travelling team to compete at the National Youth Beach Volleyball Championships at Coolangatta in April.
     
     
    Lillian Hanssen   Athletics Lillian competed at the Queensland Athletics Championships in early 2020, where she won the gold medal in the Under 17 Girls 400m. She was selected in the Queensland team to compete at the National Championships in Sydney but due to Covid-19 these championships were cancelled.
     
     
    Chace Oates   Cricket From his performance as a member of the Darling Downs Schools 13-15 years Cricket Team, where he achieved back to back centuries of 143 not out and 108 not out at the Queensland Schools Championships, Chace was selected in the Queensland Schoolboys Cricket Team.
     
     
    Rosy Ryan   Swimming At December’s State Swimming Championships, Rosy made the finals for both the 200m and 400m freestyle, which qualified her for the Australian Age Swimming Championships. Unfortunately the Nationals were cancelled due to Covid. In the last year Rosy has dropped 10 seconds off her 400m free and 6 seconds off her 200m free.
