Quarterly Incentive Awards for April - June 2019

  Lawn Bowls Julia is the winner of the Champion of Champions Singles Lawn Bowls Title for Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, placed 3rd at the All Queensland Open Lawn Bowls Championships and won the gold medal at the Australian University Games Championships playing for USQ. She has also won the silver medal at the Queensland Mixed Pairs Championships.
     
     
    Emma Stevens   Track Cycling At the National Junior Track Championships, Emma competed in 4 events: the sprint, keirin, 500m time trial and team sprint. Emma and her team mate won the bronze medal in the team sprint and in the process set a new state record.
     
     
    Errol Weir   Indoor Bowls Errol was a member of the Australian team which won the gold medal in the mixed fours event at the Trans-Tasman International Indoor Bowls Championship against New Zealand. He has been selected to play singles for Queensland at the National Indoor Bowls Championships to be held in South Australia in August.
     
     
    William Gilmore   Athletics William won the silver medal in the Under 17 Hammer Throw, and performed in the top 8 for Discus, at the Australian Athletics Championships.
     
     
    Braithen Scott   Aquathlon & Touch In the sport of Aquathlon, Braithen was a member of the Queensland team which placed 3rd at the Australian Championships. In the sport of Touch, Braithen has been selected in the Queensland team to compete at the National Championships in Canberra.
     
     
    Kamryn Dunemann   Golf Kam was a member of the Golf Australia – Queensland Development Squad to represent Queensland at the Australian Junior Girls Amateur tournament held at the Coolangatta-Tweed Head Golf Club. Kam made her first hole-in-one on the first day and finished 5th in her age division. She has been selected in the Queensland Schools Open Golf team to travel to Perth in August for the Australian School Sports Golf Championships.
     
     
    Rose McLoughlin   Athletics In April, Rose competed at the Australian Track & Field Championships where she placed 4th in the hammer in the Under 14 Girls. In this competition she competed in an older age division as she is only 12 years of age.
     
     
    Bart Steffen   BMX Racing Bart competed at the Australian BMX Championships held in Shepparton, Victoria in May, where he placed 6th in the Boys 14 years age group, therefore ranking him 6 in Australia for this age group.
     
     
    Jai Gordon   Athletics At the Queensland Athletics Championships, Jai won the silver medal in the Under 17 Men’s 100m and 200m. He followed this up by winning bronze in the 100m and 200m at the Australian Athletics Championships held in Sydney.
     
     
    Hayden Siebuhr   Wheelchair Basketball In April, Hayden co-captained the Queensland Rolling Thunder team to a silver medal at the Australian Junior Under 23 Wheelchair Basketball Championships. In May he was a member of the Queensland Spinning Bullets Gold team which won the silver medal at the Queensland Wheelchair Basketball Championships.
     
     
    Georgette Forbes   Football Georgette is a member of the Queensland 15 years Schoolgirls Football team for 2019.
     
     
    Maddison Teakle   Football Maddison is a member of the Queensland 15 years Schoolgirls Football team.
     
     
    Bella McLoughlin   Athletics Bella competed at the Australian Track & Field Championships in April and placed 4th in the hammer, 6th in the discus and 8th in shotput in the Women’s Under 17 Age group.
     
     
    Lachlan Parker   Swimming At the Queensland Swimming Championships, Lachlan won gold in the 50m & 100m Backstroke, silver in the 50m Butterfly and bronze in the 50m and 100m Freestyle. From these performances he has earned his place in the Queensland team to compete at the National Championships in July.
     
     
    Holly Nguyen   Muay Thai Holly won the silver medal at the Australian Junior Muay Thai Championships, and has been selected in the Australian team to compete in the IFMA Youth World Muay Thai Championships in Turkey in September.
     
     
    Isabelle Mason   Swimming At the Australian Open Swimming Championships, Isabelle won the silver medal in the 17-18 years 200m Butterfly. Her performance at these championships qualified her for 5 events at the World Swimming Trials for the World Championships competing against the best swimmers in Australia. Here she made the open final for the 200m Butterfly and placed 6th overall in this event.
     
     
    Ella Milne   Volleyball From her performances so far this year, Ella was selected as captain of the Darling Downs School Sport Under 16 Girls Volleyball team. Ella was also selected in the Volleyball Queensland Under 17 Girls Squad and Queensland School Sport Under 16 Girls Volleyball team.
     
     
    Conor McLoughlin   Athletics After winning a bronze medal in the Men’s Open Discus event at the Queensland Athletics Championships, Conor competed at the National Championships in April, where he placed 4th in the Open Men’s Discus.
     
     
    Will Nielsen   Hockey Will represented Queensland in the Under 15 Indoor Hockey team at the National Championships held in Goulburn. From the schoolboys championships held at the Gold Coast, Will was selected in the Queensland Under 16 team to compete at the National Schoolboys Championships to be held at Newcastle in August.
     
     
    Zara Kruger   Football Zara is a member of the Queensland 15 years Schoolgirls Football team as well as the Under 14 Girls Queensland State Club team.
     
     
    Samantha Robin   Softball Samantha is a member of the Queensland Open Women’s Heat Squad, a QAS Athlete and member of the Queensland Under 23 Softball team to compete at the Australian Softball Championships in July.
     
     
    Maccrea Laird   Athletics Mac finished with a gold & silver medal respectively in the Under 17 Shotput and Discus events at the Queensland Athletics Championships, and from there went on to represent Queensland at the Australian Athletics Championships where he finished 4th in the Under 17 Shotput.
     
     
    Halle Nielsen   Football Halle has been selected in the Football Queensland Under 14 Girls Football team to compete at the National Youth Championships, to be held in Coffs Harbour in July. She is a member of the 2019 Under 14 Queensland Academy of Sport Football team.
     
     
    Daniel Burge   Hockey Daniel was one of the two goalkeepers for the Queensland Under 15 Boys No. 1 Hockey team which came home from the Australian Under 15 Hockey Championships held in Narellan, NSW with the bronze medal.
