Quarterly Incentive Awards for January - March 2014

           
Caltex Energy Qld Incentive Award   Emily Bass   Athletics Emily won a bronze medal in the 16 Years 400m Hurdles at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships held in Sydney in March.
           
Amalgamated Pest Control Incentive Award   Ngtali Malone   Netball Ninthali has been selected in the 2014 Australian Under 18 Women’s Indigenous Netball Team who will compete in a tournament in Adelaide in May.
           
Central Jewellers Incentive Award   Jimmy Gordon   Athletics At the Australian Junior Athletics Championships Jimmy won the U/18 Men’s Discus by over 5 metres. This is the 6th time Jim has won this title since he started discus at the age of 10. At these championships he also came 3rd in the Shotput.
           
McConachie Stedman Incentive Award   Vaughan Enright   Hockey Vaughan has been selected in the Queensland Under 15 Boys No. 2 team to travel to Perth in April to compete at the National Under 15 Boys Championships.
           
Rebel Sport Incentive Award   Emma Meyer   Athletics Emma won a silver medal in the U/17 Girls High Jump with a jump of 1.67 metres at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships at Sydney in March.
           
Clive Berghofer Land Sales Incentive Award   Samantha Robin   Cricket Sam was a member of the Queensland U/18 Women’s Cricket Team who placed 3rd at the Australian U/18 National Championships at Ballarat in January.
           
The City Golf Club Incentive Award   Selina McIntyre   Hockey Selina was selected in the Australian Indigenous Open Hockey Team to compete in an International Tournament in Singapore in February/March.
           
Geiger Civil and Electrical Incentive Award   Emma Stevens   Track Cycling At the 2014 Queensland Junior Track Cycling Championships held in Brisbane in January Emma won the 10 years Flying 200m and now holds the state record for this discipline. She also won a silver medal in the 2km scratch race and a bronze in the 500mTime Trial.
           
Cooper's Joinery Incentive Award   Amber Mutch   Hockey Amber represented Australia in the Indigenous Rubies Hockey Team who competed and won the 6’s tournament in Singapore in March. They won the final 2-1 against Kuala Lumpur with a winning goal in the dying seconds by Amber.
           
Wilsonton Betta Home Living Incentive Award   Conor McLoughlin   Athletics Conor won a gold medal in the U/16 Men’s Hammer with a throw of 51.78 metres & a silver in the Discus with a throw of 61.23 metres at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships.
           
The Athletes Foot Incentive Award   Kris George   Boxing In March Kris won the Queensland Welterweight Pro Boxing Title after a third round knockout against Ozan Craddock.
           
Toowoomba Carpet Court Incentive Award   Chantel Manhire   Hockey Chantel represented Queensland as an Umpire at the Under 15 Girls National Hockey Championships in Tasmania in April.
           
National Telephone & Data Incentive Award   Shanen Layden   Athletics Shanen won a silver medal in the U/17 Girls Hammer Throw at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships.
           
Stonestreets Coaches Incentive Award   Emily Manhire   Hockey Emily was a member of the Queensland Under 15 Girls Hockey Team who travelled to Tasmania for the National Championships in April.
           
Hip Pocket Workwear Incentive Awards   Mia Rennick   Athletics Mia won a bronze medal in the 13 Years 80m Hurdles at the Queensland Little Athletics Championships held in March.
           
Holmes Smash Repairs Speedliner Incentive Award   Teketel Tyson   Athletics At the Australian Junior Athletics Championships Teketel won a Bronze medal in the U/14 years 1500m
           
The Apprenticeship Company Incentive Award   Tracy Foster   Lawn Bowls Tracy will represent Queensland in the Australian Club of Club Championships later this year after winning the Queensland Champion of Club Champion Pairs with partner Jo Worsley. She is also the runner-up in the Queensland Champion of Champion Singles.
           
Sports Darling Downs Incentive Awards   Nicole Maynard   Athletics At the Australian Junior Athletics Championships Nicole won a gold medal in the U/18, 400m Hurdles and a bronze in the U/18 Long Jump. From this performance she has been nominated as a Reserve in the 400m Hurdles at the World Junior Athletics Championships to be held in China in August.
           
    Caitlyn Stocker   Futsal Caitlyn has been selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Futsal Championships to be held in Brazil.
           
    Max Harding   Hockey Max was selected in the Queensland Under 15 Men’s Hockey team to compete at the Australian Championships in Western Australia in April.
           
    Lily Burns   Athletics At the Queensland Junior Athletics Championships Lily won a silver medal in the 14 Years 400m with a time of 63.10 seconds. A very good result considering Lily is only 12 years old competing against 13 year olds.
